Unrestricted - Area of Greatest Impact

When you make an Unrestricted Donation, your gift can address a broad range of local needs — including future needs that often cannot be anticipated at the time your gift is made. The flexibility of your unrestricted gift enables the Foundation to respond quickly to the college’s most pressing needs, today and tomorrow.
Because you set no restrictions on the use of your gift, it enables our board to do what they do best — assess the college's needs and respond. Unrestricted Donations enable the Foundation to support long-term solutions; respond quickly to emergencies; and meet changing social, cultural, and educational needs of the college.

The Student Emergency Relief Fund

The Student Emergency Relief Fund provides monetary assistance to currently enrolled Atlanta Technical College students to help cover critical needs and unforeseen financial challenges.

The escalation of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) presented significant monetary and emotional challenges for our students. Many incurred additional expenses related to technology and needed resources in order to continue their education, and some have lost their ability to work.

Your support of the College's Student Emergency Relief Fund makes the biggest impact on students right now. Gifts to this fund are providing financial assistance for books, technology, software, computers, and help with rent and bills for students now unable to work. Please consider making a gift today to support ATC students, our future leaders, as they pursue their education during this difficult time.

GAP Scholarship Fund

Most students find that their financial aid package falls short of covering all costs. Even when schools award generous financial aid, few students can afford to write a check for the full remaining amount needed to pay school bills. Financial aid only goes so far and there’s so much more than tuition that students are required to pay.

If students don’t have enough money to support their household and pay for college, they are less likely to finish pursuing a degree. You have the opportunity to change the lives of Atlanta Technical College students by donating to the Scholarship GAP Fund enabling students to successfully pursue their education, achieve positive life outcomes, and fulfill lifelong dreams.

Donations at these levels are able to support the following credit hours:

    • $25,000 (Supports 250 Credit Hours)
    • $10,000 (Supports 100 Credit Hours)
    • $5,000 (Supports 50 Credit Hours)
    • $2,500 (Supports 25 Credit Hours)
    • $1,200 (Supports 12 Credit Hours equivalent to one full-time student for one semester)
    • $500 (Supports 5 credit hours, gap funding, or books/supplies)
